Official Tehran has reacted for the first time after Prime Minister Rama’s accusations that Iran is waging hybrid warfare against Albania and that it is related to the protests that Albanian citizens are carrying out against the construction of the resort in Zvërnec.
It was the spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghaei, who described Rama’s accusations as “ridiculous”.
“Iran is being used as an excuse to avoid responsibility towards the Albanian people. These accusations are a repeated pattern by governments that seek rapprochement with the Zionist regime. Instead of responding to the legitimate demands of citizens, the Albanian authorities choose to make ridiculous accusations against Iran”, declared Baghaei.
