Prishtina, Kosovo – The Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA) is actively promoting economic development and enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector through financial support, grant schemes, and new collaborative initiatives for local businesses.
Recently, KIESA signed agreements with 198 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) under its support schemes, with a total value of €8.9 million. The funds are allocated for the purchase of production machinery, product certification, and the development of the information and communication technology sector, increasing the production and processing capacities of local businesses and helping them compete in international markets.
In addition, KIESA cooperates with international partners, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), to implement creative industry projects with a fund of over €1.4 million, aimed at strengthening MSMEs in the sectors of creativity and innovation.
The agency also manages clean energy grant schemes, promoting investments in sustainable technologies and improving energy efficiency for businesses across Kosovo.
KIESA further supports the participation of Kosovar companies in international fairs and business exhibitions, enabling the presentation of Kosovar products and services in global markets.
Through these initiatives, KIESA plays a key role in creating a business-friendly environment, boosting exports, and strengthening the capacities of local enterprises in an increasingly competitive global economy.
